Larry was born and raised in south Chicago, Illinois. He received a B.S. in Business and Master of Business Administration degrees from Eastern Illinois University. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years as a Medical Service Corp officer, serving in Texas, Korea and N.orth Carolina.0.
He moved to Omaha in 1970 and joined The Omaha National Bank (now U.S. Bank). During his 28 year tenure at the bank, he held positions as teller manager, manager of the international department, and Vice President, Commercial Loans, serving small business, agricultural, and large business customers.
Larry has been active in the Omaha Sister Cities Association since 1973 and served in various capacities,and currently holds the Director position. In 2006 he received a “Distinguished Volunteer” award from Sister Cities International for his 30+ years of participation in the Omaha Sister Cities Association.

Larry has traveled internationally in Europe, the British Isles, Asia, and Mexico. His interests include travel, reading, and expanding his knowledge about other cultures throughout the world.
