Michael has worked in, taught in, owned businesses in, and studied in nine countries on four continents. He holds five degrees from institutions on three continents. His background includes problem-solving in industries including nonprofits, finance, hi-tech, climate research, agriculture & wine, economic development, and homeless housing services.
He is proud to be a former President of the Nebraska World Affairs Council. He is currently an affordable housing program advisor to the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority, and a postgraduate student at the Harvard Kennedy School, where his focus is on developing scalable policies to develop low-cost, modular, small house villages in Northern California.
